While it's not required, you can put the chiller in the fridge or freezer until you want so use. Simply place your wine bottle in the chiller and it will maintain the temperature of the bottle and wine inside.

The wine chiller can be wiped clean with a damp cloth or wand washed in warm soapy water. Avoid wearing rings when hand washing to avoid scratches

Works great to keep wine chilled

I tested this by taking out a bottle of previously opened white wine and placing it in this wine chiller for an hour and twenty minutes before trying it to see if the wine was still cold, and it was perfectly chilled! I'm impressed.The container itself is very nice. It looks great, and I tried it with a few of my wine bottles, and it fits perfectly with a little bit of space on the sides to spare.It's lightweight and easy to use.I chose the wood grain option, and when I first removed it from the package, I did a double-take because I thought it really was real wood. It looks great! It's attractive and classy.At the time of this review, the wine chiller price is $50, and this is a fair price for the function, quality, and look/style of it.
