I ordered the champagne flute because there are moments in life that are worth celebrating. This champagne flute is elegant and sophisticated in its design and appearance. This is not some tin looking champagne glass, nor is it reminiscent of a thermos. It is streamlined, lightweight, and elegant. I ordered the black, and it has a flawless matte finish with a copper colored rim and the interior is 18/8 stainless steel. Despite the fact it is vacuum insulated there is nothing bulky about it and the rim is quite thin. The champagne flute fits nicely in the hand, it is well balanced, and it is easy to drink from. It holds 6 ounces to the brim. It measures: about 9 3/8" tall, the top is about 1 3/4" in diameter, and the base is 2 7/8" in diameter. The base has nonstick silicone on the bottom adding to it's stability.. It is condensation free and hands stay warm and dry. Another bonus is unlike crystal champagne flutes that feel almost too fragile to use, this is beautiful and elegant but feels sturdy.Whether you are enjoying a few moments by the fire, or toasting a wedding, this is a practical, lovely champagne flute. The beverage stayed cold longer, and my hands stayed warm. The champagne flute offers stability with the silicone bottom, but I will add that it base does not slide, so be aware of that when setting it down.I plan to order another so I have a pair. They would make a wonderful housewarming, wedding, anniversary or other special gift. They come in different colors and finishes and are also available in wine glasses.
