How to Use Your Snowfox Cocktail Shaker

Our shaker is designed with an extra-tight seal to help prevent leaks while shaking.

Learn how to use it and shake with confidence.

Step 1: Remove the lid and cap

Remove both the main lid and the small top cap from the shaker.

Add your ice and cocktail ingredients directly into the shaker base.

Step 2: Attach the lid

With the top cap still removed, slide the lid down over the rubber gasket until it fully connects with the metal base.

If the lid feels like it is not staying on, it usually means the cap was attached while closing it, creating too much airtight pressure.

Step 3: Add the cap back on

Once the lid is fully in place, twist the cap back on securely.

Now your shaker is sealed and ready to shake.

Step 4: Remove the cap and serve

Twist off the small top cap and pour your cocktail directly from the shaker.

Enjoy!

Shop Replacement Parts Anytime

After a fun night of cocktails, shaker parts sometimes have a way of disappearing.

Caps get misplaced, gaskets get tossed with napkins, and after plenty of use and washing, rubber seals can naturally wear over time.

The good news? Replacement parts are easy to order, and keeping an extra set on hand is always a smart idea.

The outer metal layer is .5mm thick, so it's sturdy but not dent proof. If you drop a shaker it has the potential to dent, but it won't affect the performance of the product. We've found that the biggest cause of dents is banging glasses against each other when washing or moving vs. day to day use.
All Snowfox glasses and barware are made of high-quality, 304 (18/8) food-grade stainless steel. It is one of the most common materials found in kitchens today and is used in everything from cookware to dishware and utensils because it is durable, easy to sanitize and corrosion resistant. Most importantly it is safe to use because there are no chemicals that can migrate into your beverages.
If you have the plain steel products (no color) yes, they are 100% dishwasher safe. We recommend that you always put them on the top shelf, but other than that, you can wash them just like your everyday glassware. If you have a colored/painted shaker, then they are hand wash only. However, we know that you'll wonder what happens if you did put them in there, so here is some testing results we have below: We have put a high-quality, wear resistant coating on the glasses and had third party testing labs conduct top shelf dishwasher testing using the normal cycle. Under these conditions the glasses were not affected by the dishwasher for 35-55 cycles, after which the coating started to deteriorate (peel). When we used the gentle/fine china cycle the paint lasted for 75 washes (we used a regular wash at 75 and the paint peeled). We recommend that you hand wash the shakers to maintain their look the longest. Please note that our warranty does not cover damage caused by cleaning, dropping or other wear and tear affects.
The silicon gaskets provide a leak-proof seal and also keep the metal from sticking to each other and getting stuck, which is a common problem with traditional shaker designs.
